A Contract is in place when we send an email to you confirming that the goods have been dispatched to you, which is confirmation that we have accepted your offer to us to purchase a product.  A product on any order we have not confirmed as dispatched does not form part of that contract.Payment in full must be received before goods can be dispatched.

Cancellation and  Returns Policy

Any order may be cancelled before payment, by contacting us at info@goodwinsmusic.ie and quoting the order reference.

Orders may be cancelled before payment freely, but transportation costs for cancelled orders must be paid for by the purchaser, the exceptions being where the goods supplied are faulty, have been incorrectly described, or supplied in error by the seller. Orders cannot be cancelled where the goods have been altered by the purchaser in any way from their original condition.

Your Statutory rights are not affected and you are covered by Distance Selling Regulations which allow a cooling off period of 14 days where you can cancel the contract without reason, the only cost payable being the direct cost of the return of the goods.

Refunds can only be effected by the channel originally used to make payment. Credit /Debit cards are credited straight away , but take a few days to reach your account.

Returned goods must be in their original condition and packaging, and having first contacted us, you may return them yourself or we can arrange collection for an agreed cost. This excludes products such as mouth blown wind instruments i.e.  whistles, harmonicas, recorders, and strings and cleaning products which have been opened and used, unless they  were defective.

Software and hardware products that contain software as part of the package cannot be refunded once software is open and seals broken.

Faulty Goods

In the event of you receiving faulty or defective goods, we offer the customer the following choice:

  • A prompt replacement
  • An alternative product of the same use, standard and value
  • A full refund

Goods may not be returned as faulty if any specific defect was brought to the attention of the buyer at the time of sale.


Goods ordered are normally dispatched wthin 48 hours of receipt of payment, and in Ireland are delivered by courier. All deliveries must be signed for. We can supply you with a tracking number to follow your parcel's progress on application to info@goodwinsmusic.ie.

Delivery must be to the address at which your payment card is registered to, and  deliveries cannot be made to PO box numbers.

Delivery charge of 6 Euro by Courier applies only to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland , for any orders outside that territory , please apply to info@goodwinsmusic.ie.

Acceptance of the order by Goodwinsmusic.ie in that case is conditional on all additional freight being paid before dispatch of the goods to the customer.
